How To Install
Universal Photochromic Anti-Fog Film

HOW IT WORKS
Photochromic lenses automatically adjust their tint level based on sunlight exposure. They darken in bright sunlight and return to a clear or lightly tinted state in low-light conditions.
Can I use this at night?
Please note: Like all anti-fog inserts, this film adds an extra layer to your visor which can cause slight lens flare or halo effects when riding at night. This happens because there’s a small air gap between the visor and the film — a necessary feature that provides the anti-fogging effect. We’ve added an anti-glare coating to help reduce this issue, but some light distortion may still occur under certain conditions (e.g. oncoming headlights). If you're especially sensitive to glare, you may prefer to ride without it at night.
The film is dipped in a special coating that reacts to UV light. When exposed to sunlight, the molecular structure is changed, causing the film to darken. In the absence of UV light, the film returns to its original clear state.
The lifespan depends on use and care. While proper maintenance can extend its performance, the chemical reaction that enables the tinting will naturally fade over time, typically after 1-2 years.
Regulations vary by location. Ensure the photochromic film meets your local legal requirements for motorcycle helmets.
The transition time varies based on the UV intensity. On average, the film darkens within 10 seconds.
The film measures 272mm × 91mm / (10.7in × 3.58in). Fits most visors, please verify before ordering.
